How much spending money should I bring?

We can't predict how much you'll splurge, but we can orient you on average costs for popular travel items, so here's a breakdown:

• Average beer price: €3-€7 per glass
• Average cocktail price: €8-€15 each
• Average lunch and dinner price: €10-€30 per meal
• Average ice cream price: €2-€5 per scoop
• Average magnet price: €1-€5 each
• All expenses for the Extra Activities, which you can pay for either in cash or by card during the tour.

Keep in mind that prices vary by country. While card payments are widely accepted, having cash on hand is recommended for smaller expenses (and for chipping in with your travel mates after group outings). If you run out of cash, finding an ATM in Europe is quite easy. However, it's advisable to consult with your bank regarding the most optimal fees and to inform them of your travels to Europe in advance.

In countries with their own currency, card payments are accepted, but most of them also accept euros.
